Four Former, Current Bedford Supervisors Back Ex-Tourism Director's Claims in Lawsuit

The Lynchburg News Advance reported on a filing by Virginia Employment Law in Craig v. Bedford County et al., 5:17-cv-00028, a federal 1st Amendment retaliation and due process violation lawsuit. It was revealed in court filings that a mix of four former and current Board of Supervisors members signed declarations in support of Virginia Employment Law client, Gerald Craig. The declarations indicate that Mr. Craig was not terminated for work performance, but rather for political reasons.
